After having previous trouble on our original shooting day because of our actors not showing up, we decided to film the next day, Saturday 20th February. Our location was at a bus stop in Harrow, however we had to change the location twice as we felt that the first two bus stops were not the best places to film due to a lack of natural light, meaning that the film would have looked too dark. The main reason that we decided on
the bus stop next to the Debenhams car park was that we felt that it was a busy enough stop due to the fact that the cars were in the background but not too busy to film at without disruption. We had Molly to play the ‘woman in the white jacket’ and we had an actor, Felix, to play the ‘the man at the bus stop’. We decided to start the filming at 10AM because a quick check of the weather forecast told us that at around 1:30PM it was
going to rain. We tried out various different angles for each scene as we wanted to show different points of view, as well as create a bank of enough shots to choose from during the editing process without having to settle for something that we didn’t want or didn’t feel was good enough for the final film. The shoot was successful and there was no need to reshoot, giving plenty of time to get the edit exactly the way we wanted.
