In our second production meeting, we decided on one of the four preliminary choices to carry on for the rest of the project. We chose to use the daily Rush-Hour Crush article because this gave us the most creative freedom regarding which direction to take the short film in. There are numerous genres and plots that the article will compliment which makes research and planning much easier because there are many options to choose from.

Regarding a plot, we discussed creating and documenting several narratives that ran after one another in order to create a sense of repetition, as in the article. However after going over options for each narrative, we decided that in order to make sure that viewers were able to follow along with the plot without getting lost or confused, we would stick with one narrative for our final short film.

The next thing we discussed was how and where to start our research into the article and the newspaper. We were then each given a topic to research for the preliminary background needed to develop an accurate and believable plot. These pieces of research will feature on the research blog and will be an ongoing process throughout the project's development.

Finally, we decided on team roles for the project, which are as follows;

Director - Ceri

Producer - Molly

Cinematography - Mia

Editing - Brenda

Screenwriter - Walter

Creative - Alex

Website/Blog - Chyna
